Semi-sweet Vermouth
White Grenache and Macabeu
Of an amber color with mahogany reflections, of great aromatic intensity,
brought about by the herbs in which it was macerated; hints of tobacco,
fennel, eucalyptus and thyme. It has a very soft but complex palate,
with an elegance marked by the balanced point of sweetness blended with
a subtle touch of bitterness, leaving a very characteristic finish in
the mouth.
Serving temperature 8-10°C.
MANUFACTURE:
Created from a formula dating from the beginning of the century (1919),
the Vermouth of Falset has become the aperitif of excellence of our
lands. Produced with an infusion of 120 aromatic plants, macerated in
500-litre oak barrels for a year. To the obtained herb essence the wine
is then added, properly filtered and stabilised of Grenache and Macabeu,
which has been vinified with the skins of the grapes intact. The sweetness
occurs with a proportion of 110 g per litre of sugar and is fortified
with vinic alcohol up to 16%. It is aged for 2 years, thus facilitating
natural oxidation in 350 HL oak vats, which are over 80 years old, until
its characteristic amber color is obtained.
